Flange
A flange is an important part in the piping industry that is used to connect two pieces of pipe to other equipment.. They are made in a circular or rectangular shape and have a hole in the middle through which the pipe passes. Flanges can be attached to pipes or equipment by bolting or welding. In addition to connecting pipes, flanges also have some other features. They can be used to adjust the direction and angle of pipes and also act as a suspension point for pipes. Also, flanges can withstand high pressure and heat and prevent leakage. Flanges are used as a reliable and strong connection between pipes and equipment in industry and play a very important role in the proper functioning and safety of piping systems.
Different types of flanges are designed to suit different needs in the industry. Some of the types are: WELD NECK, LONG WELD NECK, SLIP-ON, SOCKET WELD, BLIND, LAP JOINT, THREADED, TONGUE AND GROOVE, RAISED FACE, FLAT FACE, RING TYPE JOINT and MALE AND FEMALE. Each type of flange has specific characteristics and features that suit different needs according to the manufacturing standards in the industry.
